Excellent service from start to finish! Used Robbie to fit commercial Christmas decorations. He was so helpful throughout the day & really got stuck in with the fitting of the decorations which included 3 x 3 metre bauble trees and thousands of commercial grade lights. He really couldn't have been more helpful. For this type of work I think he offers exceptional value. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Robbie!

Rob and his team did a first class job re pointing the ridge tiles on my roof He sent excellent pre and post pictures clearly showing the defects and repairs which gave me full confidence in works done that I cant see from the ground. Rob was completely upfront that the roof repairs could be done for less cost by a man on ladder but I was much happier paying the premium to know the people working on my roof were safe, had better access and got the job done in a fraction of the time. I'm really happy that come winter my roof is now sound thanks to HGP.

We live in a 3 storey victorian terrace house with limited access. We had a leaking chimney and facias and soffits that needed painting. It's too high to work from a ladder so we thought that we may need to pay for scaffolding.
Harrogate Access Platforms had the perfect platform to be able to access our roof from outside of the garden. They were only here for one day and worked flat out without a lunch break to repair our chimney and prepare and paint our facias/soffits. As the platform is charged on a day rate this saved us money. If the job had run into a second day then the costs would have increased significantly.
They were helpful and friendly and did a great job. They sent me a report with photos a few days later showing the work that had been undertaken.

The challenges of managing a 200 year old apartment building are immense. When the westerly winds drive rain and snow across The Stray, ours is the first building in its path. So we never know when or where problems with our roof are going to arise. Over the last 2 years Harrogate Access Platforms have helped us with every aspect of managing our roof, gutters and high stone ledges. Robbie is not only hard working and a joy to work with, he has taken on the role of looking after our roof, being proactive and always surveying the building for issues. We now feel we are on the front foot instead of reacting. We have tried using roofers with fixed scaffolding but this only addresses leaks we know about, only problems related to the roof and only in one place. Plus they leave anchor holes in the stone walls causing more leaks. The flexibility the platform gives us is immense and Robbie's skills enable him to tackle anything he sees, from replacing slates, flaunching, pointing stonework, adding cowls for chimneys, clearing gutters and removing damaging moss. We simply couldn't manage without him.

I have used Harrogate Access Platforms many times over the last several years and have no hesitation in recommending them for any project, in fact I wouldn't use anyone else. Robbie is a joy to work with, proactive, highly competent, reliable and a true team player.

We have a house on a narrow road with a 1:5 gradient and needed a third storey dormer window frame painting. Our decorator had completed painting the rest of the house but refused to do this window unless we hired scaffolding. We hired Robbie and his platform instead. He managed to get his platform up the steep narrow road, put down wooden blocks to avoid damaging our drive's surface and carried out the preparation and painting of the window frame and surrounding timber in no more time than it took each coat to dry.
It was a job well done.

Legislation on Working at Height has been aimed at improving safety and reducing casualties. This has inevitably meant moving away from the use of ladders to the use of more stable structures such as scaffolding and access platforms. However there are a number of advantages of Access Platforms over scaffolding.
